These are all the new skills that came with the Teal Mask DLC.
When Pokemon Scarlet and Violet came out, they got mixed reviews, but that didn’t stop millions of people from buying them. Content updates have been made to both games, mostly adding new Tera raids. The good news is that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will get two DLCs: Teal Mask and Indigo Disk.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero upgrade pass has both of them. The first one, Teal Mask, came out in September and added a lot of new Pokemon. Fans will definitely be interested in them because they have unique looks and skills. It’s always nice to see how Pokemon look, but their skills are what really make or break them.
Mind’s Eye
- It doesn’t matter if its opponents become more or less agile; the Pokémon can still hit Ghost types with Normal and Fighting-type moves.
Mind’s eye is a new skill that only the Bloodmoon Ursaluna can use. When the Ursaluna uses Mind’s Eye, it doesn’t care if the other Pokemon changes how sneaky it is. The enemy can’t lower Ursaluna’s accuracy, so it won’t matter how hard they try.
The most talked-about thing about Mind’s Eye is that Ursaluna can use Normal and Fighting moves on Ghost-type Pokemon. The game could change, and Ursaluna will become even more sought after in Teal Mask.
Supersweet Syrup
- When the Pokémon first starts fight, a sickly sweet smell spreads across the field, making it harder for other Pokémon to hide.
The newest member of the Applin line is the Dipplin. Your Pokemon is a Grass/Dragon type, and it has a special power called Supersweet Syrup that makes it smell very sweet.
The opposite Pokemon becomes less sneaky when it smells the scent. When the Pokemon joins battle, it turns on. There are times when this ability is useful, but the other new powers in Eggy Car are better.
Hospitality
- When the Pokémon goes into fight, it treats its friend like a guest, which heals that ally a little.
Two of the new Pokemon that came out in the Teal Mask DLC are Sinistcha and Poltchageist. There was a different movie on the official Pokémon YouTube account that told Poltchageist’s story. In any case, the fact that they are both Grass/Ghost types is not a bad thing.
It is possible for Sinistcha and Poltchageist to be Hospitality. When the Pokemon joins the fight, it heals a friend a little. This skill can be very helpful in 2v2 fights, whether they happen online or off.
Toxic Chain
- The Pokémon’s poisonous chain has a lot of power that can harm anyone it hits with a move.
The three Pokemon that Teal Mask brings are called the “Loyal Three.” Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti make it up. The story goes that the three Pokemon fought Ogerpon and stopped it from hurting the people of Kitakami.
The Toxic Chain ability is pretty strong, and it can harm the other Pokemon very badly. The Pokemon only needs to land an attack on the target for the ability to work. Always keep in mind that there is a small chance that it will work.
Embody Aspect (Teal Mask Ogrepon)
- The Pokémon’s heart fills with memories, which makes the Teal Mask shine and raises its Speed number.
This is Ogerpon, the face of the Teal Mask DLC. It’s one of the most mysterious Pokemon in the game. It can do different things depending on what mask it is wearing. Ogerpon’s Speed is increased when it wears the Teal Mask.
When Ogerpon is in its normal form, it has an ability called “Defiant,” which raises its attack by two steps whenever its stats drop.
Embody Aspect (Wellspring Mask Ogerpon)
- When the Pokémon’s heart is full of memories, the Wellspring Mask shines and the Pokémon’s Sp. Def number goes up.
When Ogerpon wears the Wellspring Mask, his Special Defense number goes up. This power can only be used when Ogerpon is Terastallized.
One of Ogerpon’s standard forms is Water Absorb, which makes it stronger against Water-type hits by a small amount. When you put on the Wellspring Mask, Ogerpon’s type changes to Grass/Water.
Embody Aspect (Hearthflame Mask)
- As memories flood the Pokémon’s heart, the Hearthflame Mask shines and the Pokémon’s Attack number goes up.
Ogerpon can wear four different kinds of masks. The Hearthflame Mask is one of them. The Hearthflame Mask changes Ogerpon’s form and type, just like the other masks. When you put on the Hearthflame Mask, Ogerpon changes into a Grass/Fire type, and its normal ability changes to Defiant.
Because of this skill, the opponent’s skills don’t affect Ogerpon’s moves. Thanks to its Hearthflame Mask, the Pokemon’s attack number goes up when it Terastallizes.
Embody Aspect (Cornerstone Mask)
- As memories fill the Pokémon’s heart, the Cornerstone Mask shines and the Pokémon’s Defense level goes up.
The Cornerstone Mask is the fourth and final type of mask that is linked to Ogerpon. It changes the Pokemon’s type to Grass/Ground, which means that moves with the Ice, Fighting, Bug, and Steel types can do a lot of damage to it.
When Ogerpon wears the Cornerstone Mask, his normal ability changes to Sturdy. When the Pokemon has full health, it can’t be hurt by moves that kill it in one hit. When Ogerpon turns into a Terastalized form, its Defense number goes up.
