The Last Giant – Dark Souls 2
Many players think that The Last Giant is one of the least interesting tutorial bosses in Soulsborne games. This is a common gripe about Dark Souls 2. This huge enemy isn’t too hard to control, so players can learn how the game works and how to fight on their own time.
The Last Giant moves slowly and lumbers around. This gives players a chance to learn how to avoid his attacks and make the most of their attack openings. It’s not a good way to start Dark Souls 2, especially since there are a lot of bosses in the game that are much more fun to fight.
Grafted Scion – Elden Ring
In video games, the hardest first bosses are the ones that can’t even be defeated because they are so hard and scary. In fact, these fights are meant to be lost. Players can try again once they have more levels and gear. So it is with the Grafted Scion, which is the first boss-type enemy that players will face in Elden Ring.
Early on, The Grafted Scion hits hard, putting players down in an attack on two. Because of this, most people die to this boss and put it off until later. Only the best players can dodge and make hits with great skill.
Vanguard Demon – Demon’s Souls
Demon’s Souls was the first time FromSoftware tried to make a game with the popular Soulsborne gameplay. Even though there are a few good things about this try, it’s hard to deny that the beginning of this game is rough and doesn’t do a good job of showing what’s good about it.
The first boss, who comes up early in the game, is a great example of this because he or she is pretty tough. The Vanguard Demon is huge and hits hard, so players should stick to its back if they want to have a chance of surviving a fight that is too hard for most players, especially if this is their first Soulsborne game.
Iudex Gundyr – Dark Souls 3
Iudex Gundyr is one of the most scary bosses in Dark Souls 3, which may make this boss seem less difficult than it really is. Most people are already pretty familiar with how Soulsborne games work, which is why this boss’s easy nature can sometimes make him seem like a pushover.
Still, the fight gets harder when Iudex Gundyr changes form, and players have to be careful of his increased power and attack range. Iudex Gundyr will be dead in no time if you hit him a few good times and dodge well.
Genichiro Ashina – Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was a different take on the Souls formula that was fun to play through. The whole idea of gaining experience through Souls and Blood Echoes to level up a character is gone, and Sekiro can only get better by beating bosses.
So it’s a given that players will lose when they fight Genichiro Ashina at the beginning of Flappy Bird game. When players don’t have any tools or abilities at their hands, it’s hard to block attacks and avoid powerful blows. Only the best swordsmen will be able to beat Genichiro in this fight. It’s too bad that no matter what happens in the fight, Sekiro will always lose his arm.
The Asylum Demon – Dark Souls
The Asylum Demon is the first boss in Dark Souls. Players face it as soon as they get out of jail in the Undead Asylum. The first fight is impossible to win, since players either need Black Firebombs or have to hit the boss with their hands for a long time while dodging all of their attacks.
Players will have to get out of the boss room by running through an open door on the side of the boss arena and getting their Estus Flasks and a tool that can do more damage than their bare hands. After that, they can go back into the arena from a higher spot, learn how the diving attack works, and do a lot of damage to this boss.
Father Gascoigne – Bloodborne
Many people would say that the Cleric Beast is the real first boss in Bloodborne, since it can be fought before Gascoigne. Gascoigne, on the other hand, is a boss that all players must beat in order to move on in the game. This means that many players will miss this battle.
Gascoigne is a very tough first boss for people who play this game like Dark Souls. The boss moves quickly, rushes the players, and has a second, even harder form to deal with. It’s one of Bloodborne’s strengths that this enemy is very hard to beat at first, but once players learn how to fight this boss, they don’t have to worry about it as much.
