Survival Bowling, released now for iOS, requires you to hit pins that want you

Giant Wave Games has announced the release of Survival Bowling, a bowling game with a novel storyline in which the pins come to life. While you’ll need to do all you can to knock those pins down, there’s an extra twist here: the pins are actually coming at you bit by bit, and you’ll need to knock them down before they reach your limited supply of bowling balls.

Survival Bowling, as the name implies, is all about surviving against assaulting hordes – in this instance, anthropomorphic bowling pins. As you continue through the levels, the pins will seize your bowling balls and transport them back to your storage, leaving you defenseless against these obviously possessed pins.

If that seems like your cup of tea and you’re looking for more games where you’ll have to withstand swarms of enemies, have a look at our list of the top tower defense games for iOS.

Of course, if you successfully remove the pins, you may enjoy the benefits of your efforts with unique prize balls based on your performance. You must collect enough of those prize balls to go past each successive wave of opponents. There are only three Continues, so use them carefully.

If you want to join in on the fun and try out Survival Bowling for yourself, you can do so by downloading it from the iOS App Store. It’s a free-to-play game with an in-app payment to eliminate advertisements and get more balls. It will soon be available on Google Play for Android users, but for now, you can learn more about the game by visiting the official website.
