  • Now, install QBWC again.
  • Head to QuickBooks Developer site. From there, set up a compatible version of the Web Connector tool.
  • Extract the file contents and after that, right-click QBWebConnectorInstaller.exe file.
  • Hit on Run as Administrator.

  • Hit on Finish.

Method 2: Verify QWCLOG.TXT file

Go to the QuickBooks folder and search for QWXLOG.txt file. Now, open the file with Notepad. Check the sources of this error in the file and try to rectify them manually.

Method 3: Grant Web Connector Permissions 

The steps to allow Web connector permissions are:

  • Launch QuickBooks.
  • Head to Preferences, and then Integrated Applications. Then go to Company Preferences.

  • Uncheck the box “Don’t allow any applications to access this company file”.
  • Click on Allow Access checkbox and Connect.
  • Hit on Properties.
  • Now, click on “Allow this application to read and modify this company file”.

  • Run QuickBooks and then hit on File and then App Management. Then, hit on Manage Web Apps
  • Click on Web Connector Tool and click on Ok.
  • Finally hit on Done.

Method 4: Configure Firewall

Firewall may be causing Network issues, which may be leading to QuickBooks Error QBWC1013. As such, one should temporarily disable the Firewall and then try the process again.
