Supercell has just announced that a massive update to Brawl Stars is now available. It effectively redesigns the whole main gameplay cycle with new brawlers, skins, equipment, and a slew of other enhancements. The patch is appropriately dubbed Hypercharge, and users can get a taste of what’s to come by watching the teaser video attached below.
The Hypercharge update for Brawl Stars returns players to the Ranger Rank, where new skins from the Wasteland are spreading havoc. Belle and Sam were a fantastic couple, but their family has grown to three with the arrival of a new oven-bot named Pearl.
The Brawl Academy skin will be available a few weeks following Pearl’s release, just in time for school. Finally, Chuck the Ghost Station conductor will roll and steam into Brawl Stars in October, generating quite a stir.
The update’s name is derived from the new item, Hypercharge, which will be available at Power Level 11. It gives brawlers and the Super a short boost, making them more powerful versions of themselves. Their operation is identical to that of standard supers, with the exception that Hypercharges charge at a slower pace (ironic, I know).
Shelly, Colt, Bull, Spike, Drift Hunters, Jacky, and Pearl will be the first brawlers to have access to Hypercharges. They’ll be available in the store and as part of Collectors Packs at various periods throughout the week. Players will be able to discover them on the brawler’s profile page two weeks later.
In addition to the Wasteland and Brawl Academy sets, gamers will be able to get the Robot Factory and Redux skins later in September. Pin sets, season-themed sprats, and profile icons to represent the new Hypercharge function are among the other interesting cosmetics.
The Hypercharge upgrade will be available on September 5th. Prepare for it by downloading Brawl Stars for free right now.
